suggestion

I need some suggestions for places to go for a nice dinner with a couple of friends on a saturday night.

Please don't tell me hawker centre or something haha.

The cuisine type could be anything. Just need some options for now.

Please put something on the chat box people! Whoever reads this anyway!

Deleted my previous entry. Thought it was crap.

Went to gym on Tuesday morning. Reached the place at around 9, hoping that the gym would be empty, considering that its a weekday and its so damn bloody early. But wah. Its quite crowded.

Oh well, the only equipments i need are the squat rack, inclined bench press and the pull up machine.
And usually i start off with a set of squats then followed by bench press and alternate between sets.

On that day however, the bench press was occupied by 2 china guys. So i decided to make do with what i could get my hands on, and that was the squat rack.

I thought that the 2 would probably be done by the time i finish with the squats and so i started my work out.
The previous session i had problem with doing 5 sets of 8 with 15kg on each side of the bar bell mainly i think because i slacked off for a week and didn't go to gym haha. So i aimed to do a little better that day.

I warmed up with 2x5kg and then changed it to 2x15kg for the actual sets. I did 1 set of that and decided to increase 2.5kg to each side and followed through to the last set. With squats done, i moved on to the incline bench press. The 2 china guys were gone and so i had the whole thing to myself haha.

Wanted to try another way of lifting. So i warmed up with 2x1.25kg and then changed to 2x6.25kg as i previously left it. I did 6 reps and then with each set, I added 1.25kg to each side. So by the end of the 6th set i was doing 2x8.75kg. Wait. Calculate the math and you might wonder why after doing 6 i'm still at 8.75kg. haha thats because i was dying by the 4th and 5th set and so i decided to do 2 sets of 7.5 and 2 sets of 8.75. haha i think the next session i've got to try harder.

Went for a short break and then i moved on to the dead lift and pull up regime. this time nobody was occupying the pull up machine and so i took my own time to complete the sets. Started with dead lift with 2x5kg for warm up and then i added to 2x17.5kg. I was doing 2x15kg previously and so i decided to increase a lil bit. the extra 5kg proved to be a strain intitally. But after the initial few sets i just wanted to finish the whole damn thing and so pulled it through. haha. For the pull up, i did 5 sets of 8. With each set decreasing the amount of weight by 1. Not 1kg but 1 something. I'm not exactly sure whats the weight of one of the bars. So yea that sort of concludes my tuesday gym session.

While i was doing my chin up, 2 girls who just entered the gym were stretching and then one of them wore super short pants. I'm pretty sure they weren't tights. Hot pants definitely. Multi-colored striped hot pants. haha. Then when she stretched, her pants wrapped around her butt cheeks so tightly like its gonna tear the pants. haha.

Nvm, i continued with my chin ups and then the 2 girls went to the machine where its suppose to be a machine to work the thighs, and you are suppose to push the platform forward and then retract. something like that. so they alternate that and another exercise, involving weights to work the back muscles and they have to bend down while doing that.

So while the hot pants girl was doing the exercise, got this 2 indian guys were just staring generally into their direction, enjoying the view haha. they just sat at the bicep curl and quad machine on the other side the whole way and stared. lol.

I think sometimes this type of girls purposely wear like that. Perhaps they like the attention they draw. If they get molested or raped someday i think they asked for it haha.

I took off on that day to go gym in the morning as well as to meet up with SJ in the afternoon for lunch. Was suppose to be dinner but i found out somebody wanted to watch tv at night so decided to shift it to afternoon instead. Luckily i did duty on saturday and that i used the off as well.

We went to the Curry Favor at stamford. This was the 2nd time i've been there. The previous time i ordered Cheese Katsu, basically its cheese wrapped in pork and deep fried like tempura. It was heavenly haha. I thought i try something else this time. So i ordered Rosu Katsu rice. And it was a set lunch so the entire meal cost me 12.90 only. SJ ordered Chicken Katsu set and then i asked to add cheese sticks. the cheese sticks cost 7.90 and we were joking initially what if it came as just 3 sticks. or even worst, 1 big stick. haha. But it didn't to our delight. I ordered ice tea for the drinks and she followed suit. When it came, someone regretted cos she thought its was iced lemon tea. haha.

Yea on the food. The Rosu Katsu i had was fantastic. I can't describe the taste. You have to try it yourself. If you think japanese food is like NP canteen 1 jap store or canteen 4 jap store, i seriously think you should go down to curry favor and try. lol

The cheese stick was damn nice i thought. Its really cheese. Not like that fake ones in burger king. This one the cheese is like those cheese in the cheese pancakes sold by Mr. Bean if you all know what it is. Deep fried. Woooooo~

It was quite cheap, considering that the servings were quite big. Aiya never take any pictures of the place and the food!

oh well. Yea then after that walk walk talk talk around that area. Went to the candy empire in Millenia Walk and then somebody made me buy the Hershey's peanut butter chocolate something so that she won't feel guilty buying it.

Then we went off after that. Some uncle in marina square was trying to give us pamphlets of some bridal store and then asked SJ is she still a student or something lol.

I'm not that worried i gained weight that day. Why? While firstly, i went to gym in the morning. 2ndly, i ate soul garden once with anna and gang and look where i am now? Off days are a necessity. Especially for me. So don't nag at me for not sticking to my diet or something. You try eating and living the way i am now before you start commenting.

And lock. I tried flaxseed mix in cold water. It tasted like vomit. HOW CAN A SANE PERSON POSSIBLY DUNK IT DOWN THE THROAT? OUR BODY JUST ISN'T MEANT FOR DRINKING POISON!

Bleah. The thought of it made my throat itchy.
